ABOUT CCSCSB
The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) is an autonomous body under the Department of Personnel and Training, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
It is the central agency for promoting cultural and sports activities among Central Government employees across the country. The Board was established in 1964 as the Central Secretariat Club under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Initially, its objective was to promote cultural and sports activities among Central Government employees located in Delhi.
Over time, the Board's activities expanded significantly to serve Central Government employees across the country.

Board Structure
The Board is a society registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860. It works under the aegis and control of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training. Secretary (P) is the ex-officio President of the Board. Activities and Funding
The Board receives annual grants-in-aid from the Department of Personnel and Training. A portion of this is passed on to the Regional Sports Boards. A key area of the Board’s work is organizing sports and cultural events, including:
- Inter-Ministry tournaments in 20 disciplines in Delhi annually
- All India Civil Services (AICS) Tournaments in collaboration with State/UT Governments/RSBs

Aim & Objective
Objective: Promotion of Sports and Cultural activities amongst Central Government Employees.
Vision: The Board is the nodal agency for sports and cultural promotion, initially focused on Delhi but expanded to national reach over time.
Our Commitment
- Create awareness about physical fitness and stress relief through sports and culture.
- Promote mass participation, including children of employees.
- Maintain sports facilities like Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis, etc.
- Organize Inter-Ministry tournaments from April to March.
- Maintain transparency through regular participant interaction.
- Encourage State/UTs and RSBs to host AICS tournaments.
